Dr. David Godbold, President

David Cuyler Godbold, a native of Florence, South Carolina, has an AAS in Accounting, BA in Business Administration, an MBA and Ph.D from the University of Madison, WU in Business. He was a talent scout for the Tonight Show and The Smothers Brothers prior to returning to the South to develop his own business, Pearl Communications. He was the first South Carolina Music and Entertainment Commissioner, appointed by Secretary of State, Jim Miles, in 1992. He also founded the South Carolina Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame. Under North Carolina's Elaine Marshall, he founded the North Carolina Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame. In 1995, he produced the Southern Rock Reunion, featuring the Marshall Tucker Band. He hosted segments on Music City Tonight and Crook & Chase for CBS and TNN. He also produced the Andy Griffith Reunion on the Grand Ole Opry with Earl Scruggs. He's preformed with Ronnie McDowell, DJ Fontana, and Scotty Moore, the original musicians for Elvis. He has guest starred on the Leeza Gibbons show, Opry Backstage, Music City Tonight, Ralph Emery show, and Behind the Music with MTV. He also produced shows with such names as Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Reba, Brooks & Dunn, Bill Cosby, Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, The Cordettes, Amy Grant, Eddie Arnold, Nancy Humphreys, to name a few. He is the founder and president of Pearl Street Records and Pearl Drums Publishing.

CJ Lange, Executive Vice President

CJ Lange, a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin has lived the music scene his whole life. From birth through his early performing years to now, being brought up on classic rock n’ roll riffs and guitar licks with his multi-gold selling artist and father, Chuck Lange Sr., he has seen the dynamic music industry from many different angles and musical genres, be it recording in his family’s home studio to writing scripts for major advertising campaigns featured on broadcast radio to managing promotions and booking shows for the many musical groups and historic events that CJ has been a part of over the years. CJ joined Pearl Street Records in 2008 as a published songwriter and artist but now as Executive Vice President works very closely with Dr. David Godbold on strategic plans for expanding PSR’s national reach and in signing new artist talent who otherwise may never reach the level of exposure and promotion that’s needed in today’s mainstream, digital music scene to make an impact. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and holds a master’s degree in Business Information Systems Management from DeVry University in Chicago.

Justin Ray Williams, Senior Director

Justin Ray Williams is the Executive Director of The SC Entertainment & Music Hall of Fame a non-profit 501(c)(3).

Justin Ray Williams has created, directed and produced live shows, events, festivals, record albums and Films over 20 years.

Justin is the host of a weekly Entertainment Radio Show on iHeartRadio, Called "The FAME" Show.

He is the producer of new album sales for PSR & SC Entertainment & Music Hall of Fame.

Justin focuses on signing, administration, promotions, management and marketing for Pearl Street Records.

Maya Holland, Artist Relations Director

Maya has an extensive background in Music and Entertainment. She is an official Board Member of the North Caroline Hall of Fame. She is the talent scout for Pearl Street Records, Urban Groups, Music for Pearl Publishing, Artist for Pearl Records and the World Talent Association. Maya is a published song writer and poet. She speaks on the motivational circuit at Churches, Small and Large Business, Entertainment Organizations, as well as Military Organizations.
Special Note; Maya Holland served her country in the US Army.

Kevin Welch, Artist Relations

Kevin "BB" Welch is a self-written, self-produced artist who greatly enjoys expressing himself through music.
